Colorwoods Montessori Kinderhaus

Colourwoods Montessori Kinderhaus was founded as the first Bilingual Montessori Kinderhaus in 8126 Zumikon (ZH) in 2004 with a group of 6 children attending class. In February 2011 we moved location to Poststr. 25 in 8700 Küsnacht.

Today we are a team of four qualified teachers plus a creative dance teacher. Max 25 children in the group. The younger children can choose between attending 4 or 5 days a week, the older children 4+ must attend kindergarten everyday Monday to Friday from 08:30am - 15:00pm as required by the new Kindergarten Law in Kanton Zürich as of August 2008. Wednesdays Kinderhaus close's at 12:00pm.

The children learn in a warm and inviting atmosphere gently guided by the Montessori teacher's. Close cooperation between teacher's and parent's create an important foundation.

We are an independent Kindergarten with our primary aim to serve the interests of the children. We help them discover the wonderful world of learning and becoming more and more independent through the freedom of choice in a Montessori classroom.
Since May 2009 we are an Official Privat Kindergarten recognised by the Kanton of Zurich BID.

Monday - Tuesday - Thursday and Friday from 8:30 am - 15:00 pm
Wednesday 8:30 am - 12:00 pm
